MAINTENANCE 11025 /029 <br /> NOTICE OF INTENDED RULEMAKING <br /> PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF TREE PRESERVATION <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE RULE R -6.305 <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority contained in Sections 2.019 <br /> and 6.305 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Manager Pro Tern of the City of Eugene, intends <br /> to adopt proposed Amendments to Tree Preservation Administrative Rule R- 6.305, which: <br /> Establish definitions for street trees and heritage trees; establish new criteria for <br /> permit approval; and clarify time frame for expiration of permits. <br /> The proposed Amendments to Tree Preservation Administrative Rule R -6.305 are <br /> necessary in order to be consistent with recently revised provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971, <br /> and may be reviewed at the office of the City Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401 <br /> during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays). <br /> All persons wishing to comment thereon or object thereto must submit their comments or <br /> objections to the City Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, in writing, within thirty <br /> (30) days of the date of the Est publication hereof, as indicated below.
