Section 6.315 is hereby added to the Eugene Code, 1971, to provide: <br /> 6.315 Tree FellingA -° Prohibited. <br /> (1) As used in this section, :. words and phrases have the meanings <br /> ascribed in r:setion:7-.660 of this code. <br /> (2) No person may fells; more than five trees within A,,---period of 12 <br /> consecutive fmonths from a parcel of, private property consisting of 20,000°or moreesquare <br /> feet of area. <br /> (3) No person may fell one or more trees from an undeveloped parcelof <br /> private propertyhconsisting of Tess than 20,000 square feet of area <br /> (4) The provisions of subsections (2).and (3) of this section da not pply <br /> when, <br /> (a) The tree felling is the minimum necessary! for implementation <br /> of an approved development proposal; or <br /> (b) The tree felling is necessary to remove ' ralleviate atdanger to <br /> life; or property due to the hazardous, dead, decaying, odiseased condition <br /> Ordinance - 1 10/31/97 <br />
