Hammitt, Bob
From: Medlin, Johnny
To: Etter, John
Cc: Hammitt, Bob; Staszewski, Jan
Subject: Dillard letter to neighbors notifying of resumption of work.
Date: Wednesday, February 02, 1994 7:39AM
John, this is extremely high priority. I want you to be highly involved with Jan in the preparation of the draft for
the following memo.
We need to get a letter prepared today to go out to the interested party list for the Hunter /Bardwell tree cutting
permit.
Glenn Klien asked that we do the letter in a format that in a couple of pages tells the whole story of how we got to
where we are and where we are going. He feels this would be best for the neighborhood as well as supporting
future litigation.
I would think that we would want to cover at least the following:.
1. Reasons for the stop work.
2. Description of what we allege to be illegal removal
3. All conditions we imposed and that they met in order to get the stop work lifted.
(include the self imposed conditions from their letter of December 23 ?)
4. That we are in the process of determining the magnitude of fines which we shall impose.
You will want to review all previous notices we sent to the interested party list to insure consistency of
information.
This letter needs to be reviewed by either Glenn Klein or Jens Schmidt before it is mailed and it MUST be mailed
no later than tomorrow morning. I'm unaware of anything that takes priority over getting this letter out.
Thanks Johnny
Page 1
