Date: 08/06/93
From: Johnny Medlin CEWMJRM - RIS1
To: John Etter CERMJFE - RIS1
cc: Bob Hammitt CEWMJRH - RIS1
Subject: Tree Ordinance request from County Commissiners
John, an item which I forgot to ask you about in yesterday's meeting
was the status of this project. As I remember we need to have the written
material to the County by the 18th. Also as we discussed earlier it is
much preferred that the majority of all material presented be done so in
written form so that the oral presentation is limited to answering quest-
ions.
As a reminder, what is needed is a description of the change our new tree
ordinance is from our past ordinance. Something in a format like the
attorney used to compare the two new versions for Council would work well
in this. In addition, they wish a comparison between our new City ordin-
ance and that which is in the UGB.
It would be good to have a draft of this material finished by August 13.
That would give a few days for it to be reviewed before the 18th. Since
I will be out of the office for my hand surgery, I would like to have
this waiting for Bob's review (on his desk) when he returns from his
vacation on the 16th.
Thanks
Johnny
