NO TREE CUTTING PERMIT MAY BE ISSUED UNLESS CONSISTENT WITH THE <br /> CRITERIA IN THIS SECTION: <br /> A Proposed tree cutting mint he consistent with at least one of the following three criteria: <br /> (1) trees are diseased or they otherwise present hazardous or unsafe conditions; <br /> (2) trees need to be removed in order to constrict improvements or otherwise utilize the property <br /> in a reasonable manner, <br /> (3) Fire Marshal agrees that trccs need to be removed to protect structures (e dating or proposed) <br /> from fire dangers. <br /> B. In addition to satisfying at least one of the criteria in 'A' above, all tree removal applications must be <br /> evaluated for consistency with in of the following: <br /> (1) Oregon Department of Forestry guidelines; <br /> (2) compatibility with generally accepted principles of horticulture, silvaculture, ecology and <br /> landscape architecture; <br /> (3) adequacy of proposal to plant vegetation to mitigate environmental effects of removal; <br /> (4) effect tree removal has on environmental quality of the area; and <br /> (5) topography of land and effect of felling on erosion, soil retention. stability of earth. flow and <br /> character of surface waters and streams. prutectk n of nearby trees and windbreaks. <br /> IL WHERE A'PLOT PLAN' FOR FULL DEVELOPMENT HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED, 8LJ <br /> OF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA ALSO APPLY, LADDfON TO THE CRITERIA IN <br /> SECTION t.
