8Y v MA GER
FE828 Mi
Jeff Anderson
Telephone 541/ 484 -2708
3974 Pam Street
Eugene, OR 97402
DISTRIBUTED TO:
j MAYOR
Neighborwoods Program 41CC
City of Eugene x
Urban Forestry Program
1820 Roosevelt I ASST MGR
Eugene, OR 97402
CCC
Dear Sirs:
DEPT
As the Volunteer Coordinator/Parents Group Representative of the Harris School
Elementary Neighborwoods Project, I would like to make you aware of the excellent
support services supplied by the City and by Mr. Mike Bellmore, Neighborwoods
Coordinator, in particular. Mike came to a Parents Group meeting, clearly expressed the
concerns of the City and urban forest management, listened to our concerns, and helped
with site and tree species selection.
Even though a storm had caused problems in Eugene's urban forest the night before our
planting, Mike made sure we had the tools and materials promised on time and he
worked throughout the day to make sure that over 300 elementary students plus staff and
parents could have a good time while safely planting 27 trees along 30th Avenue and
Harris Street.
Thank ou,
Jeff Anderson
cc: Mayor Bascom
