Move street classification references in Chapter 9 (Land Use) to Chapter 7 (Public <br /> Improvements) of the Eugene Code. <br /> 4. Amend the city's fire code to require sprinkling in new homes where the grade of the <br /> primary emergency vehicle access route exceeds 12%. <br /> 5. Amend section 9. (Setback Provisions) of the Eugene Code to include a new <br /> subsection on required setback for adequate back -up distance in alleys. <br /> 6. Amend Design Standards for Eugene Streets, Sidewalks, Bikeways. and Accessways <br /> to permit the use of inverted curbs in private alley construction and on lower volume <br /> public local streets. <br /> 7. Amend Design Standards for Eugene Streets, Sidewalks, Bikeways and Accessways to <br /> permit the use of a modified rolled curb in residential street construction. <br /> 8. Amend Design Standards for Eugene Streets. Sidewalks, Bikeways and Accessways to <br /> include allowance for exceptions to street and sidewalk standards to minimize cut and <br /> fill slopes and impacts on other natural features. <br /> • <br />
