EIIGE*''E <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> • <br /> The following will be considered at the Eugene Planning Commission public hearing of <br /> November 7, 1995: <br /> Eugene Local Street Plan (CA 95 -2) <br /> The Eugene Local Street Plan, and proposed code amendments to implement <br /> the plan, were prepared at the direction of the Eugene City Council and in <br /> response to Oregon Transportation Planning Rule requirements. The plan <br /> provides direction for the development of the future local street system in <br /> undeveloped areas within Eugene's urban growth boundary by defining the <br /> pattern, design, and general location of the future local street system. The <br /> plan contains a set of planning principles for the layout and design of the <br /> local street system, recommendations for alternative local street standards, <br /> a map of the proposed framework for the future residential street system, <br /> and recommendations for amending several sections of the Eugene Code <br /> and Public Works administrative standards. The proposed code amendments <br /> address street connectivity, private street standards, street trees, utility <br /> locations, bicycle and pedestrian circulation, street construction standards, <br /> sidewalks, street grade, curb standards, and traffic calming. <br /> The hearing will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Eugene Council Chamber, located at 777 Pearl Street. <br /> Testimony may be submitted in three ways: <br /> 1. Send a written statement to the Planning Commission, c/o City of Eugene Planning <br /> Division, 99 West 10th Avenue, Suite 240, Eugene, Oregon 97401. In order to be <br /> included in the Planning Commission's packet, your statement must be received by <br /> the Planning Division by 5 p.m. on October 27, 1995. <br /> at the hearing.
