greement No. HAA031M00 <br /> Task Order No. HAF061 M 12 <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br /> 1.0 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> The City of Eugene will provide staffing to oversee and supervise collection of seed of native <br /> plants from wetland, upland prairie, and oak savanna habitats in the west Eugene area. The <br /> City may also purchase and plant native seed for use in restoration, enhancement, and <br /> rehabilitation projects within the West Eugene Wetlands planning area. <br /> 1.1 Access/Location <br /> All work areas will be at Government- approved sites. Access to sites is via all- weather roads. <br /> All sites are located in the West Eugene Wetlands of the Eugene District BLM or on other <br /> approved lands within the greater West Eugene Wetlands area. Sites are located on varied <br /> terrain from steep to gentle slopes with various distances so that the tools will need to be <br /> packed in from the roads. <br /> 1.2 Work Hours <br /> Work hours, start/stop times for noise - making activities (power equipment may be operated) <br /> will be between two (2) hours after sunrise until (1) hour before sunset. <br /> 1.3 Site Security <br /> City personnel fulfilling the requirements of this Task Order can stage work based out the BLM <br /> facility at 751 South Danebo, Eugene, Oregon and use some BLM equipment. City personnel <br /> will be responsible for securing all tools on site in storage space provided. Staff will also be <br /> responsible for locking buildings if they are the last person leaving the office at the end of the <br /> work day. <br /> 1.4 Fire Precautions <br /> All state fire laws will be followed. <br /> Specific requirements for fire equipment may vary by local fire district. City of Eugene is <br /> required to check with local fire districts and furnish any equipment required by those districts. <br /> 2.0 DEFINITIONS <br /> None. <br /> 3.0 COOPERATOR - FURNISHED ITEMS <br /> Cooperator is required to furnish any tools or equipment necessary to complete the tasks <br /> identified. <br />
