However, before that can happen, both Lane County and the federal government <br /> must complete the evaluation process for these policy choices. <br /> In addition, there is a significant policy choice to be made when electing to go with Title Two <br /> and Title Three. One of the act's clear purposes was to keep a connection between county <br /> governments and schools and the national forest lands, as well as help with the economic <br /> development and employment base of the regions. Therefore, a lot more work needs to be done <br /> and it is premature to assume funding in either of those categories. <br /> As said above, the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self- Determination Act of 2000 is <br /> exciting legislation for the citizens of Lane County.
