This grant is funded in part <br /> by federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 and in part with federal <br /> Workforce Investment Act (WIA). It is a one -time funding source aimed at creating employment for <br /> youth and supporting adults up to 24 years old. <br /> PARKS ANO OPEN SPACE PLANNING <br /> The funding from this grant will be used to form two work teams, the Trail Building team and the <br /> PARK OPERATIONS Waterway /Vegetation team. The Trail Building team will construct a major portion of the Ribbon <br /> Trail, located between 30th & Spring Blvd and Hendricks Park. The WaterwayNegetation team will <br /> focus on small restoration projects along Amazon Creek and other natural areas in the City. The <br /> URBAN EORESTRY projects will begin in early July and run for 8 to 9 weeks. <br /> NATURAL RESOURCES The funded by this grant will be completed under GJN 100016 (OYCC /OYEI Grant).
