A COMPARISON OF PARKS BY EUGENE PARK PLANNING DISTRICT <br />The information in the following table is taken from the Eugene Parks and <br />Recreation Plan. The plan used 1988 census figures, and the statistics below <br />are based on that data. Figures for any year between 1988 and 2010 should be <br />obtainable with reasonable accuracy by interpolation. The acreage figures <br />used are current. No significant additions of neighborhood and community park <br />acreage have been added since 1988, hence the figures below are judged <br />accurate enough for comparative purposes. <br />According to standards in the Appendix of the Eugene Parks and Recreation <br />Plan, Eugene has a goal of providing 1.3 - 1.8 developed acres of neighborhood <br />park land per 1000 population, and 4.0 acres of community park land per 1000 <br />population with at least 50% development.
