Eugene Parks Survey <br />July, 1998 <br />Introduction <br />PURPOSE: <br />The purpose of this research is to determine the likelihood of success for a Parks Bond Measure, <br />to provide information for message development, and to aid in targeting the message. <br />METHODOLOGY: <br />A total of 400 interviews of likely City of Eugene general election voters were completed. <br />Telephone interviews were conducted between August 11 and 13, 1998. <br />The sample was selected and quotas established to guarantee a statistically accurate <br />representation of the likely voting population in a November, 1998 election. <br />The survey has an error margin of approximately 5 %. <br />Deborah Harford Consulting of Eugene, Oregon, assisted in the preparation of this report. <br />Interviewers were hired and administered by Western WATS of Provo, Utah. <br />
