West Eugene Wetlands, Spencer Butte, Ridgeline Park <br />System, Charnel Mulligan Park, Fairmount Park, Hendricks Park (main <br />garden section), Monroe Park, Scobert Park, Sladden Park, University Park, <br />Washburn Park, Washington/Jefferson Park, West University Park, Maurie <br />Jacobs Park (described as that contiguous park land west of Owen Rose <br />Garden to a point on the west boundary where the improved area ends and the <br />natural river front zone begins), and the Park Blocks (described as that area <br />generally bounded by East 8 Avenue, West Park Street, and East Park <br />Street). <br />For purposes of this Rule, the following definitions as contained in Section 4.105 of the Eugene <br />Code, 1971 for malt beverage, alcoholic liquor, and hard liquor, apply to -wit: <br />Alcoholic liquor An alcoholic beverage containing more than one -half of <br />one percent of alcohol by volume. <br />Hard liquor An alcoholic beverage, including sweet wines and all spirituous <br />liquors, containing 14 percent or more of alcohol by volume. <br />Malt beverale Beer, ale, porter, stout and similar beverages made of barley <br />malt, hops and water, containing more than one -half of one percent of alcohol by <br />volume and not more than 14 percent of alcohol by volume. <br />1.008 USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS. <br />The use of any lighted smoking instrument or device, or the oral use of tobacco <br />products (i.e., chewing tobacco) is prohibited within all City recreation centers and pools. This <br />prohibition shall also apply to areas outside such facilities that are within ten feet of doors, entries, <br />or pathways thereto. As used herein, "smoking instruments or devices" are defined as cigarettes, <br />cigars and pipes.
