apply to -wit: <br />(a) Alcoholic liquor An alcoholic beverage containing more than one- <br />half of one percent of alcohol by volume. <br />(b) Hard liquor An alcoholic beverage, including sweet wines and all <br />spirituous liquors, containing 14 percent or more of alcohol by volume. <br />(c) Malt beverage Beer, ale, porter, stout and similar beverages made of <br />barley malt, hops and water, containing more than one -half of one percent of alcohol <br />by volume and not more than 14 percent of alcohol by volume. <br />(2) Hard Liquor Consumption of hard liquor, or possession of any receptacle <br />containing any hard liquor is prohibited in all park and open space areas. <br />(3) Malt Beverages and Alcoholic Liquor Consumption ofmalt beverages and <br />alcoholic liquor, or possession of any receptacle containing alcoholic liquor or a malt beverage <br />which has been opened or had the seal broken or the contents of which have been partially removed, <br />is permitted in all park and open space areas except within: <br />(a) Children's playground areas; <br />(b) Athletic fields; <br />(c) Wading pools; <br />(d) Tennis courts; <br />(e) Parking lots; <br />(f) Skateboard facilities; <br />(g) Rest rooms; <br />(h) Sheltered picnic areas, unless explicitly authorized by the City in <br />writing in conjunction with the rental of a sheltered picnic area; and <br />(i) The following specific facilities and pool areas: <br />1.
