Changes: <br />Stream Team volunteer program would move to Wetlands and Open Waterways section. <br />(also described in WOW -3) <br />2. NeighborWoods would move to the Urban Forestry Section. <br />3. Channel maintenance elements currently part of the Maintenance Operations Section of <br />PWM would become part of the Park Maintenance Section of POS. <br />A restructuring of the crews within the new Park & Open Space Maintenance Section would be <br />necessary to incorporate the new elements as well as those moving to other sections and to balance the <br />workloads and program responsibilities of the supervisory staff within the Park Maintenance Section. <br />The makeup and program responsibilities of the Landscape, Medians, & Floral Gardens Crew will be <br />essentially unchanged. Four positions currently in the Turf & Grounds crew that are focused on <br />maintenance of various natural resource areas would be moved to a new crew made up of the remaining <br />Volunteer Coordinator, the Park Amenities Crew, and the 5 FTE channel maintenance crew joining the <br />section from PW Maintenance /Operations. <br />October 19, 2000 12 <br />
